    Adrian Bennett BDS, MPhil, MJDF RCS Eng

    Adrian is an Old-Boy of the Manchester Grammar School and qualified from the University of Bristol in 2000 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery winning awards in Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics and Oral Medicine.

    He was awarded a Master of Philosophy degree in 2004 from the University of Manchester for research into tooth coloured filling materials.

    In 2010 he was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng)

    Adrian is Secretary of the Faculty of General Dental Practice's NW division and has also been the newsletter editor for the past 7 years. He is a member of the British Society of Occlusual Studies and actively enjoys postgraduate training.

    He enjoys restoring/ driving his 1964 Triumph TR4 and can often be seen Mountain Biking on the local hills and playing in his band "Decoy".

    Adrian lives locally and is married to Natalie; they have two sons Tom (3yrs) and Ollie (0yrs).

    Andrew qualified from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1978, followed by the Diploma in General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons, UK in 1993 and a Master of Philosophy in 1999 for research into dental materials at the University of Manchester.

    He won the SmithKline Beecham Dental Practice Innovation award in 1995 and the Manchester Postgraduate Dental Society Award for research in 1999. Andrew is the head of Stockport Dental Seminars and the International Partnership for the Study of Occlusion outside

    He was a founder of the British Society of Occlusal Studies in 1986 and as secretary for 10 years, organised almost 30 postgraduate training courses. Other positions held include Dental Vocational Training Advisor in General Dental Practice, UK Chairman of the American Equilibration Society, Chairman of Dental Relief for Romania Appeal, leader writer for Dentistry Monthly magazine and editor of Biological Dentistry newsletter.

    John Moorhouse

    Implantologist John Moorhouse is highly regarded within the Profession and has taught widely on the subject of implants.

    He has helped streamline the "All-on-4" technique for Nobel-Biocare and has recently published a series of articles on this ground-breaking procedure

    In his spare time, John can be found anywhere form the middle of the Sahara to the Amazon Jungle to the South Pole, participating in endurance marathons, climbing and extreme sports!

    Andrew graduated from the University of Bristol in 2010 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree and has completed his Vocational Training year in general practice in Manchester over the last twelve months.

    Recently, Andrew has worked Saturday mornings at Apollonia House and started full-time in September 2011.

    Andrew has a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry with particular interests in family restorative and oral care, occlusion and prosthetics.  Andrew is currently in the process of developing skills in orthodontics and restoring implants.  This is combined with working towards the MJDF RCS(Eng).

    Andrew lives locally in Greenfield and is involved in events in the Saddleworth area.  His interests outside of dentistry include being a keen football & cricket fan and outdoor pursuits.

    Dr. Paul Tipton is an internationally acclaimed Prosthodontist who has worked in private practice for more than 30 years. He is the founder of Tipton Training Ltd, one of the UK's leading private dental training academies and the author of over one 100 scientific articles for the dental press.   He was voted in the Top 10 'most influential dentists in the UK' by his peers in Dentistry Magazine in April 2011 and was the leading Prosthodontist in the poll.

    Dr.Tipton's career started in 1978 when he qualified from Sheffield University.  His passion for dentistry led him to undertake further private training with the leading dentists of the time, prior to opening his own referral practice in Manchester.  He continued to build his skills and reputation, studying at London's prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital, where he obtained a Masters Degree in Conservative dentistry in 1989.

    In 1992, Dr. Tipton was awarded an honorary Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was appointed a member of the British Dental Association's Independent Practice Committee. In 1999, he was certified as a Specialist in Prosthodontics by the General Dental Council.

    Dr Tipton's teaching career began at Manchester University in 1989 where he taught on its MSc.  Now he regularly lectures at home and abroad. To date, over 2500 dentists have passed through the Tipton Training Academy. He has recently helped to establish an on-line Training Academy for Dentists which allows remote access to study groups.

    He is on the editorial board of Private Dentistry Magazine and Restorative & Aesthetic Practice.  He was a founding member and on the Board of Directors of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  He is currently the President of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (BARD).
