Andrew Lane
Andrew qualified from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1978, followed by the Diploma in General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons, UK in 1993 and a Master of Philosophy in 1999 for research into dental materials at the University of Manchester.
He won the SmithKline Beecham Dental Practice Innovation award in 1995 and the Manchester Postgraduate Dental Society Award for research in 1999. Andrew is the head of Stockport Dental Seminars and the International Partnership for the Study of Occlusion outside
He was a founder of the British Society of Occlusal Studies in 1986 and as secretary for 10 years, organised almost 30 postgraduate training courses. Other positions held include Dental Vocational Training Advisor in General Dental Practice, UK Chairman of the American Equilibration Society, Chairman of Dental Relief for Romania Appeal, leader writer for Dentistry Monthly magazine and editor of Biological Dentistry newsletter.
Adrian W. Bennett
Adrian qualified from the University of Bristol in 2000 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with awards in Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics and Oral Medicine. He was awarded a Masters of Philosophy in 2004 from the University of Manchester for research into tooth coloured filling materials and is currently studying for his Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF). Andrew and Adrian have been partners since 2004.
Adrian is a Board Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice’s NW division and has been the newsletter editor for the past 5 years. He is a member of the British Society of occlusual studies and actively enjoys postgraduate training.
Adrian lives locally and enjoys restoring his Triumph TR4, Mountain Biking and playing in his band "Decoy".
